Megan Thee Stallion teamed up with Flo Milli for “Roc Steady” on her Megan: Act II deluxe project in October and the duo took things back to high school for the official visual of the Ciara-sampling tune on Wednesday (Nov. 27).
Megan kicks off the clip as head of the cheerleading team as she perfects the choreographed routine with the team while preparing for Hottie Homecoming.
Flo Milli and Thee Stallion reunite to strut down the hallways like they’re the leaders of the Plastics from Mean Girls running the school.
But the boys who turn their attention to the duo meet a tragic demise. One ends up squirting blood in the bathroom while another is murdered and left laid out in an empty pool.
It’s pretty graphic at certain points — Meg’s even got one of their hands in her locker. All that’s missing is a Hotties High School Burn Book.
“Roc Steady” — which samples “Goodies” — was crowned one of the early fan favorites out of the 13 tracks that landed on Act II. Megan explained that Flo kicked her out of the studio to record her assist.
“I called Flo milli to thee studio and she kicked me and the engineer out the room for like 45 min and when I came back in I was shooookkkk #ROCSTEADY,” she wrote to X.
Flo replied: “lmaooo chill i was shy can’t let nobody see my crazy side we got the job done tho.”
Megan Thee Stallion’s Megan project arrived back in June and the project debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 64,000 total units earned.
